Your role will be detective. During Dinner you will experience scenarios and scenes where clues come thick and fast. You'll have an opportunity to question suspects with your fellow diners, and maybe even search their possessions!
A Death on Demand Murder Mystery evening is ‘tongue in cheek’, laced with humour and satire alongside the deadly deed!
As the clues mount up and the intrigue develops, each table elects a detective to investigate the suspect’s belongings!
Then it’s time for you to put two and two together…. and hopefully solve the case!
Following a 'reveal', the winning table will be announced.
A prize of a bottle of bubbly is presented, for the winning table to toast its success.
This Murder Mystery is performed entirely by the cast of Death on Demand. No guest is asked or expected to play a main role.
It’s like being in your own 'live' game of Cluedo!

The evening is a fully interactive, live-action immersive theatre experience.
Death on Demand's experienced actors will be ‘in character’ for the entire evening and will interact with you freely.
There is no ‘stage’ – the characters are around and among you throughout!
The plot, clues and motives unfold during the dinner.
What are they hiding in their pockets?
The action begins as starters are served, and will continue throughout the meal, alternating between ‘scenes’ performed by the suspects – full of clues and information
You'll be able to interrogate the characters directly at your own table.
Uncover the clues and the mystery can be solved!

Our Murder Mystery includes:
- Bed & Breakfast in en-suite
- Murder Mystery evening by 'Death on Demand' - extended dinner (see sample dinner menu here) served in either the Conservatory or the main function room, average 2.5 hours
- One Hour optional History tour by Craig y Nos Castle's in-house tour guide Jeremy at 10.o0 am on morning of departure. Tour the castle and discover the history and historical uses of the main rooms. Lasts 1 hour.
- Enjoy a leisurely three course dinner in our Conservatory or main Dining Room while you work out 'Whodunnit'.
- Costs £125 per person (Dinner, B&B based on two sharing a room).
A £50 per person non-refundable deposit will be charged upon booking your Dinner.
If booking Dinner and B&B, the B&B element of £75/ person is payable on arrival.

Tonight is the retirement party of one of the most celebrated surgeons in the local hospital.
But his final simple operation ends in unexplained tragedy.
The team who assisted during the operation are also present, and it’s down to you to work out whether there was murderous intent, or whether it was just a freak accident…
There are a few romantic elements within this story which make it something of a Valentines Special! It's also a 1960s theme, so feel free to dress up accordingly!

23/06/2023: Gorgeous food at the murder mystery last night. The best salmon and dessert I've ever had! The strawberry ice cream and fudge brownie was divine! Breakfast perfect everything could ask for selection wise. Asked if decafe available and waitress kindly brought. Welsh cakes a lovely touch too. Loved it stayed ten years ago and all memories came back. The free castle tour was brilliant in the morning, Jeremy was great! I had forgotten what a gem this place is having stayed over ten years ago. Myself and partner loved it. So great we could bring the dogs too. The stay has lifted my spirits. A big thank you for such a lovely stay. You clearly put a lot of hard work into providing an outstanding experience. Very grateful :)
